Qualifications

• 6+ months' experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong phone skills and active listening while researching the patient account.
• Familiarity with healthcare practices and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare customer service in a physician or specialty practice is a plus.
• Experience with EMR, especially AthenaNet, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume of incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls including follow-ups on patient voicemails.
