ConvenientMD is seeking a Medical Receptionist - Urgent Care (Per Diem) to warmly welcome patients, register new and returning patients, and assist with insurance and billing questions. The role requires handling payments, coordinating with clinicians, and maintaining an organized front desk across multiple locations.

The position supports a fast-paced urgent care environment with 12-hour shift options, and hourly pay ranging from $19.50–$24 USD, reflective of location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Experience in a healthcare or customer-service role is a plus.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and travel between ConvenientMD locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and complete patient registration.
• Handle insurance and billing inquiries with clear information.
• Collect payments and manage co-pays and charges.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Perform front desk duties and maintain organized reception area.
• Familiarize with CMD software for scheduling and medical records.
