Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of relevant clinical care experience.
• BLS certification (AHA) required within 90 days.
• BLS certification (ARC) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of an RN or Provider.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to the health care team.
• Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with the RN or Provider.
• Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
