Corewell Health's Pennock Urgent Care in Hastings is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient team. Training may start at part-time hours for 4–8 weeks; shifts every 6 weeks and potential to work more as needed.

You will room patients, assist with treatments, administer vaccines, perform point-of-care testing, and manage basic supplies. A high school diploma or MA program, BLS within 90 days, and MA certification within 120 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited MA program or 1 year direct patient care experience required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• 1 year experience in physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist with treatments.
• Administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform wound and ortho care; manage supplies and administer point-of-care testing.
