WellNow Urgent Care in Michigan is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team, bridging front desk operations with clinical support. You will assist with patient history, vital signs, phlebotomy per certification, and documentation in the EMR system to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred phlebotomy experience or certification.
• Ability to handle high patient volume and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab samples if certified.
• Document patient information and test results in the EMR.
• Assist providers with exams, testing, and patient flow.
• Explain insurance and pricing to patients and register them promptly.
