Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our team in Michigan. You will support both front-end and clinical operations, help with patient intake, vitals, and phlebotomy if certified, and assist providers during exams and testing to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in CPR certification and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and record vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified.
• Complete lab paperwork and order entry for tests.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, flu, glucose, UA, etc.).
• Assist providers during exams and testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and clean/stock exam rooms.
