Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is looking for a hands-on Urgent Care Clinic Manager to drive operations and lead a dynamic team. You will oversee daily clinic functions, coordinate with providers and staff, and own patient experience, scheduling, and P&L performance.

The role combines fast-paced urgent care operations with strategic leadership, requiring strong communication, compliance adherence, and a commitment to AFC’s patient-first mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare management experience in urgent care or ambulatory settings.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Experity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor non-provider staff to ensure service, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow, scheduling, and resource use.
• Monitor KPIs such as wait times, patient satisfaction, staff turnover, and budget adherence.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and internal protocols.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews.
• Communicate performance data with regional leadership and implement improvement plans.
• Oversee clinic finances, including budget control and P&L tracking.
• Provide on-floor support during peak hours.
