Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking an Urgent Care Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dynamic team, and ensure exceptional patient experiences. You’ll supervise Medical Assistants, Receptionists, and X-Ray Techs while partnering with Providers and Advanced Practitioners.

You’ll drive scheduling, payroll, and performance management with full ownership of center performance. You will monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance while coordinating with regional

Qualifications

3+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in urgent care or ambulatory settings.
Strong leadership with ability to coach, inspire, and retain teams.
Excellent communication and budget management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor non-provider staff, cultivating service, accountability, and operational excellence.
Manage day-to-day clinic operations—patient flow, scheduling accuracy, resource use.
Monitor KPIs: wait times, patient satisfaction (NPS), staff turnover, budget adherence.
Maintain HIPAA/OSHA compliance and internal protocols.
Handle recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance management.
Liaise with regional leadership and communicate performance data and improvement plans.
Oversee clinic finances, including budget control and P&L tracking.
Support on the floor during peak hours as needed.
