Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Support physicians and medical staff in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
• Assist medical assistants and other team members to maintain smooth clinical workflow.
• Accurately record patient demographics, scheduling, and other information in the EMR.
• Process financial transactions, insurance verification, and third-party payer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams in person and by phone.
• Support office and laboratory procedures as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information.
