Job summary

American Family Care in Buffalo, NY seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement. You will work with a franchised AFC location and collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction. Duties and benefits vary by franchise.

Responsibilities include detailed health histories, diagnoses, therapies, and patient education. Must maintain board certification and licensure and be able to multi-task.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification; ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active state PA/NP licensure; DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification as required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive histories, review records, order tests as appropriate.
• Formulate diagnoses and arrange therapy or referrals to facilities or resources.
• Provide emergency measures and stabilization when needed.
