Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; BA/S with teaching credential preferred.
• Expertise in at least one academic content area; one-year experience teaching middle, high school, or college students.
• Knowledge of student-centered instructional methodologies; ability to relate to diverse populations; and ability to communicate effectively within the university.

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses to high school students in one or more subjects.
• Develop and implement class lessons for a Six-week Summer/STEM Academy program.
• Classes run ~90 minutes each, up to two classes per day.
