Sonoma State University is seeking an Outreach Coordinator for Upward Bound to provide comprehensive academic advising and case management for program participants. You will coordinate outreach activities such as student recruitment and college placement while collaborating with campus staff.

Qualified candidates have a four-year degree, TRIO/program experience and strong English/Spanish bilingual skills. The role is full-time, fixed-term and on-site in Sonoma, CA with a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a four-year college degree with related coursework; three years of professional student services work experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of work experience.
• Two years’ TRIO or similar program experience with low-income, first-generation, or disadvantaged students preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive academic advising services to students.
• Perform case management and assist in coordinating outreach services for program participants.
• Collaborate with other advisors, university staff, faculty and administrators to support student success.
