Job summary

Sonoma State University is seeking an Upward Bound Summer Academy Instructor (Casual Worker) to teach two courses to high school students as part of the Six-week Summer/STEM Academy program. Classes run about 90 minutes, with up to two per day, under the TRiO Sonoma-Napa Programs director.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing lessons aligned with state standards, using student-centered instruction, and supporting diverse, low-income, first-generation students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; teaching credential preferred.
• Experience teaching high school, college, or similar students.
• Computer literacy required; TRIO program experience preferred.
• Knowledge of student-centered instructional methodologies; ability to teach diverse populations.

Responsibilities
