Job summary

Sonoma State University seeks an Outreach Coordinator for Upward Bound to provide academic advising, case management, and outreach coordination for program participants. You will work under the Director to support student success and coordinate recruitment and college placement activities.

The role requires a four-year degree and TRIO-related experience; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred, with strong MS Office and Google Suite skills.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of work experience.
• Two years’ TRIO or similar program experience is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency highly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic advising to students.
• Perform case management and coordinate outreach services (recruitment, college placement, school outreach).
• Collaborate with advisors, university staff, faculty and administrators to support student success.
