Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a LINE COOK to join our fast-paced, scratch kitchen. You will prepare proteins, coordinate with the team to ensure top-quality presentation, and maintain a clean, organized station throughout service.

We value reliability, flexibility with shifts, and a commitment to proper food temps and sanitation. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, and applicants must be 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens required.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Our restaurants operate professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchens. You will line and prep cook to ensure high expectations for food presentation and execution.
• Coordinate with assembers, expo, and management to manage ticket orders for proteins and ensure proper food temps.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and workspace; follow sanitation protocols and closing duties.
