Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is seeking a prep cook to join its fast-paced kitchen in Chapel Hill, NC. You will support line cooks by preparing ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining mise en place.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to operate kitchen equipment.
• Previous kitchen/culinary/chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with knives, slicer, mixer, stoves and ovens is expected.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute proper food recipes following company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and workspace.
• Open and closing duties and sanitize areas per protocols.
• Coordinate with team to ensure fast, accurate service.
