Job summary

Fairmont Long Beach is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to sell, deliver and account for IRD items in alignment with Fairmont standards. The role supports food deliveries and amenity deliveries, upholding liquor laws and ensuring guest satisfaction across rooms and spaces.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in upscale F&B, strong guest service orientation, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in upscale food and beverage environment, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining institution.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handler Certification and TIPs/Alcohol Safety Certification.
• Strong guest satisfaction mindset and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Uphold values and mission while performing duties.
• Deliver orders and amenities to guest rooms and hotel spaces promptly.
• Explain food and beverage items in detail and provide courteous service.
• Follow all hotel standards and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
