Job summary

Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach is seeking an In Room Dining Server to deliver and account for in-room dining orders in line with hotel standards. You will assist with deliveries, follow recipes, and provide courteous service to guests, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

The role requires upscale F&B experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in upscale food and beverage environment, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining.
• Proven track record for guest satisfaction.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Pleasant and cheerful disposition.
• Maintain a high level of integrity.
• Display grooming standards as required by the hotel.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Fairmont Breakers values while performing duties.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in rooms, pool deck, and public spaces.
• Set up, break down and reset service stations.
• Answer phones with professional etiquette.
• Explain menu items and daily specials.
• Follow liquor laws and safety standards.
• Assist in filling in at other F&B outlets as needed.
• Maintain inventories and handle cash per policies.
• Complete opening/closing paperwork and side work.
• Attend to guest concerns and provide high-quality service.
