Job summary

Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach, CA is seeking an In Room Dining Server to deliver exemplary service within our luxury hotel. You will sell, deliver and account for items from the In-Room Dining program, assist with room and amenity deliveries, and ensure compliance with liquor laws and Fairmont standards.

Requirements include at least 1 year in upscale food and beverage, a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and food handler certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in upscale food and beverage environment, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining institution.
• Speak, write and read English at an advanced level.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handler Certification and TIPs/Alcohol Certification.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Fairmont Breakers values and mission statement while performing duties.
• Provide professional, friendly and engaging service to guests in rooms, pool deck and other spaces.
• Deliver orders and amenities timely and ensure compliance with liquor laws and standards.
• Set up, break down and reset the In-Room Dining service station and assist with side work.
