Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Reserve server to coordinate full table service for guests in a fine dining setting. This part-time role averages about 20 hours per week, with availability from 6:30am to 9:00pm and on weekends and holidays.

You will handle guest orders, wine service, billing, and uphold menu knowledge while working with both front and back of house staff and using a POS system to ensure a world-class dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 6 months of fine dining experience.
• Commitment to delivering world-class guest service.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes guest orders to ensure timely preparation.
• Present, open, and pour wine for guests.
• Observe diners to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
• Total bills and handle payments or refer guests to supervisors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu and beverages; upsell as appropriate.
• Active use of the POS system per guidelines.
• Ensure uniform is clean and properly pressed.
• Arrive ready to start in full uniform and appropriate footwear.
• Set tables with clean cutlery, china, and glassware.
• Work nights and weekends; potential for holidays.
• Assist bus person with stocking and clearing between courses.
• Complete side duties before shift end; prepare for next meal period.
• Uphold Biltmore goals, culture, service standards, and values.
