Job summary

The Biltmore Company invites applicants for a Host position in Reserve. This part-time role averages about 20 hours weekly and starts at $16.32 per hour, depending on experience. Duties include greeting guests, guiding them to tables, handling seating, answering phones, and recording reservations.

You will help maintain the dining room, assist servers, and ensure service standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer/guest service experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with reservations software (OpenTable helpful).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort them to tables, presenting menus.
• Maintain an optimal flow of seating by section during service.
• Answer the telephone and take reservations; manage the reservation book.
• Assist in preparing the dining room for service and maintain cleanliness.
• Monitor guests' needs and support department leadership as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous departures and invite return visits.
