Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a guest-focused host to greet guests, escort them to tables, and assist with seating in a fast-paced upscale restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include handling reservations via OpenTable, answering phones, and maintaining a smooth flow of seating. Applicants should have strong communication skills and be at least 18, with prior guest-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer/guest service experience strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented team.
• Familiarity with reservations software (OpenTable helpful).
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort arriving guests to tables and assist in seating.
• Maintain optimum flow of seating by section during service.
• Prepare restaurant for service and keep dining room clean.
• Answer phone, take reservations, and manage scheduling online.
• Monitor guests’ needs and assist in all phases of operation.
• Provide world class guest service and maintain professional image.
