Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced General Manager for a high-volume, upscale dining destination in Downtown Atlanta, GA. The role demands a hands-on hospitality leader who can elevate guest experiences while driving private dining and events business.

The ideal candidate will be highly visible, guest-facing, and committed to developing people while achieving strong operational and financial performance. Bachelor's in hospitality preferred; ServSafe desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, including 3–5+ years as a General Manager.
• Proven success managing a high-volume upscale restaurant, ideally generating $6M+ in annual revenue.
• Strong P&L knowledge with experience managing labor, costs, budgets, and profitability.
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead all restaurant operations with a visible, floor-facing presence.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing FOH and BOH leadership team.
• Create a positive culture centered on hospitality and guest experiences.
• Oversee private dining, events, and large-scale functions.
• Partner with culinary leadership to ensure seamless FOH/BOH execution.
• Develop relationships with guests, regulars, and local partners.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue, private dining, and events.
• Manage P&L, labor costs, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
