Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a line cook to join its upscale kitchen team. You will prepare and plate menu items, follow standardized recipes, and maintain high quality and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have culinary training, knowledge of sanitation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends in a premier hotel setting offering exceptional benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary culinary training/certification as Cook from a recognized culinary school.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards.
• Familiar with standard kitchen equipment and its use.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize work area with all necessary supplies and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, rotates all food products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Prepares and stores raw food products properly and follows recipes.
• Monitors portion control and plating, ensuring timely service and quality.
