Job summary

Pearce Services in the Dallas area seeks an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Service Engineer) to support data centers, telecoms, and industrial facilities across the DFW region. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, installation, and battery services on UPS and DC power systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You must have hands-on experience with critical power equipment, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to travel within the service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing UPS systems, battery systems, DC power equipment, generators, switchgear, data center infrastructure.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider Electric/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical theory and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems and related power equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, test equipment, and documentation.
• Install, commission, and replace UPS systems and battery strings.
• Respond to emergency service calls and restore systems to operation safely.
• Maintain service reports and customer communications accurately.
