Pearce is seeking an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Service Engineer) to support data centers, telecom, healthcare, and industrial sites across the DFW region. You will perform preventive maintenance, emergency service, commissioning, and battery services on UPS and DC power systems, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and travel within the assigned territory.

Formación

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing UPS systems, battery systems, DC power equipment, generators, switchgear, data center infrastructure, or other mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider Electric/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB, or comparable critical power platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical theory, power distribution, and battery technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems, battery plants, DC power systems, PDUs, STS units, inverters, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and control system faults using schematics, test equipment, manufacturer documentation, and best practices.
• Install, commission, and replace UPS systems, battery strings, monitoring systems, and bypass equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls and restore systems safely and promptly.
• Document service reports and customer communications accurately and professionally.
