Pearce Services is seeking an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician to support customers in the DFW region, performing preventive maintenance, emergency service, and commissioning on UPS and related power systems in data centers and critical facilities.

The role requires hands-on electrical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and strong customer service skills, with the flexibility to travel within the service territory and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience servicing UPS systems, battery systems, DC power equipment, generators, switchgear, data center infrastructure, or other mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider Electric/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical theory and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read/read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical/electronic issues.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems, battery plants, DC power systems, PDUs, STS units, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, test equipment, and manufacturer documentation.
• Install, commission, and replace UPS systems, battery strings, and monitoring equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls and restore systems while maintaining safety standards.
• Complete service reports and customer communications professionally.
• Develop customer relationships through technical expertise and responsiveness.
• Mentor junior technicians and support field training.
