Job summary

Pearce Services, a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management for mission-critical electrical infrastructure, seeks an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Service Engineer) to support customers in the DFW region.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on UPS systems, DC power, battery plants, PDUs, and static transfer switches in data centers, telecom, healthcare, and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience servicing UPS systems, battery systems, DC power equipment, generators, switchgear, data center infrastructure.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider Electric/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB preferred.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical theory and safe troubleshooting practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems, battery plants, DC power systems, PDUs, STS, inverters.
• Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, test equipment, and manufacturer docs; restore systems to operation.
• Install, commission, and replace UPS systems and battery strings; maintain safety standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls and communicate findings clearly to customers.
• Maintain service reports and documentation; mentor junior technicians as needed.
