HMSHost at MSP Airport is seeking a bartender to welcome guests, take drink and food orders, mix beverages, and process payments while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring bar cleanliness, and upholding alcohol-safety policies. Must meet state age requirements and be able to lift up to 40 pounds; prior cash-handling and guest-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age to serve alcohol as required by state.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and their preparation.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and policy documents.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Hands frequently immersed in water and cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes orders, looking for upsell opportunities.
• Follows recipes and directions for beverage preparation.
• Collects payments and operates cash registers; secures money at shift end.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication.
• Adheres to HMSHost customer service, alcohol and cash policies.
• Keeps bar clean, stocked and sanitized.
