Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Bartender to greet customers, take drink orders, mix beverages, and serve beverages at an airport location. You will communicate with the manager and servers, ensure high-quality service, and perform other duties as assigned.

This is a non-exempt, on-site position reporting to management based on local requirements. The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, beer/wine/spirits knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in high-volume or fast casual dining.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and their preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders, and look for opportunities to upsell.
• Mix beverages following recipes or product directions.
• Collect payments and operate cash registers following company policies.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures and ensure guest safety.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
