Job summary

The Bartender position at HMSHost involves greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing cocktails and drinks to standard recipes. You will also handle payments, communicate service times, and ensure high-quality customer service in a fast-paced airport setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of related bartending experience, knowledge of beers, wines and spirits, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bartending experience in high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and their preparation/presentation.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to follow cash handling policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take drink/food orders, upsell where possible.
• Mix beverages following recipes and product directions.
• Process payments and operate cash registers; secure all monies.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar.
• Adhere to HMSHost safety, sanitation and alcohol policies.
