HMSHost at Manchester Airport F&B is hiring a Bartender to greet customers, take orders, mix beverages per recipes, serve beer and other drinks, and complete transactions with accurate cash handling. You will communicate ticket times to the team and ensure high quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include at least 1 year of bartending experience, knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and their preparation.
• Strong ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents; communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food and drink orders; upsell when appropriate.
• Follow recipes and directions for mixing beverages.
• Handle cash and operate the register; secure money at end of shift.
• Adhere to alcohol awareness policies and prevent intoxication.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and well-stocked bar area.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
