Job summary

HMSHost at Minneapolis Airport is seeking a Bartender to greet customers, take drink orders, mix beverages, and serve beverages while ensuring high quality service. You will handle payments, advise on menu items, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, up-selling, cash handling, and adhering to alcohol service policies. This non-exempt role reports to the store/restaurant leadership and requires the ability to lift up to 40

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and how to mix and present drinks.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes drink orders; upsells menu items.
• Follows recipes/directions for beverage preparation.
• Collects payments and handles cash transactions per policy.
• Maintains clean, sanitized and well-stocked bar.
• Ensures compliance with alcohol-service policies and handling procedures.
• Escalates issues to management as needed.
