Job summary

HMSHost at Indianapolis Airport is seeking a bartender to greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and serve beverages while ensuring fast, accurate service. You will communicate ticket times to the manager and servers, and handle transactions with care to uphold service quality.

Required is at least 1 year of bartending experience in busy environments, knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about products and upsells.
• Follows recipes and directions for beverage preparation.
• Collects payments and operates cash registers following cash handling policies.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures and handles intoxicated guests.
• Adheres to HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies.
• Keeps the bar clean, sanitized and well stocked.
