Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring a University Recruiter to support a university-focused hiring team during peak recruiting periods. You will source and engage candidates, manage the interview process from requisition assignment through offer acceptance, and ensure an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers.

You will work under close supervision, applying established recruiting practices while developing expertise in talent acquisition and universal hiring processes.

Qualifications

• Requires 13 years of experience in a high-volume recruiting environment.
• Experience managing a large requisition load in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in sourcing, engaging niche profiles, and guiding candidates through hiring.
• Experience coordinating offers, onboarding, and status changes.
• Strong partnership with hiring managers throughout recruitment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract external candidates for specialized profiles and drive talent into the funnel.
• Recruit, screen, and interview for high volume of requisitions with timely communication.
• Engage with hiring managers from requisition opening to offer acceptance and updates.
• Maintain strong candidate relationships and positive interview experiences.
• Extend offers and manage the offer process, including decisions and acceptance rates.
• Perform reference checks and pre-employment verifications as required.
• Support onboarding and coordinate orientation for new employees.
• Conduct exit interviews and process status changes per policy.
• Manage 100-200 requisitions at a time and maintain clear pipelines.
• Track KPIs like offers per requisition and acceptance rates.
• Use tracking mechanisms to monitor requisition activity and accountability.
• Escalate issues to supervisor per guidelines.
• Collaborate with university recruiting to support peak cycles.
