Job summary

NUC University seeks an IT Support Specialist I to provide broad and advanced technical support to students, faculty, and staff across the University. This role functions as a Tier 1 resource, handling inquiries, triaging tickets, and visiting users on-site as needed.

Responsibilities include supporting hardware, networks, LMS, SIS, CRM, BI, and document management, and staying current with evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide broad and advanced technical support to a diverse university community
• Familiarity with hardware configuration and repair, network, telephony, LMS, SIS, CRM, BI, and document management (as examples)
• Strong customer service skills and ability to triage and escalate as needed
• Willingness to travel to campuses as required

Responsibilities

• Provide general and advanced technical support services to students, faculty, and administrative staff across the University.
• Serve as a Tier 1 support resource, handling inquiries via phone, triage of Help Desk tickets, and on-site visits as needed.
• Assist with hardware configuration and repair, network, telephony, LMS, SIS, CRM, business intelligence, and document management.
• Track changes and enhancements in technologies, hardware, software, and applications; stay up-to-date with technological changes.
• Travel to campuses may be required; work location may be at a specific campus, centralized location, or remote.
