Job summary

Columbia Bank in Ringoes, NJ is seeking a Universal Banker I (FT) to provide full range of banking services to retail customers, including transactional and non-transactional support. The role emphasizes serving clients and supporting branch goals.

The schedule is generally Monday–Friday plus alternating Saturdays; salary range is $22.00–$24.00 per hour; requires high school diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Business/Finance and 1–2 years retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as needed or scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Process banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Open new deposit and checking accounts and explain products to customers.
• Cross-sell bank products and services and refer to other departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer and account records and support end-of-day procedures.
• Provide courteous service in person or by phone and assist with online banking explanations.
