Columbia Bank New Jersey is seeking a Universal Banker to provide comprehensive banking services, including transactions and customer assistance. You will be responsible for account management and will play a key role in enhancing customer relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail or customer service experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Interpersonal, time management, organizational and PC skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Processes all banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Opens new deposit and checking accounts; assists with customer inquiries.
• Discusses personal financial needs with customers and recommends products.
• Prepares daily proof sheet and helps with end of day closing procedures.
• Maintains accurate customer and account records.
• Makes referrals to Wealth Management and other departments as appropriate.
