Job summary

Salem Five is seeking a Universal Banker to grow the bank’s relationships in its communities. You will handle sales and customer service, cross-sell banking products, and support branch operations with a focus on a superior customer experience.

The role requires a high school diploma and Federal NMLS registration; candidates with retail experience and strong product knowledge will thrive in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent required.
• Some retail experience preferred but not required.
• Federally registered through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and records in good standing.
• NMLS IDs renew annually.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and grow market share in the communities served.
• Cross-sell products and services with branch management and internal partners.
• Engage in defined sales activities: uncover needs, offer solutions, close business, onboard, and follow-up.
• Record customer contacts in the Bank’s system of record and contribute to branch goals.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building personal connections and recommending financial solutions.
