Salem Five is hiring Universal Bankers to deepen relationships, uncover customer needs, and cross-sell commercial and consumer products across multiple branches. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, applying product knowledge, and leveraging digital banking tools to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in a retail or banking environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Universal Banker role requires NMLS registration and good standing.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and grow Salem Five’s market share in the communities served.
• Uncover customer needs and refer cross-sell products and services.
• Record each contact in the Bank’s system of record and support branch goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with a personal connection and tailored financial solutions.
• Learn and apply banking product knowledge and digital tools; maintain relationships with customers.
• Perform universal branch banking—sales and teller duties—as needed; support opening/closing procedures.
