Job summary

Old Second National Bank in Illinois seeks Universal Bankers at levels I–III to deliver front-line customer service, open accounts, and promote the bank's products. You will profile customers for new sales and cross-sell opportunities while supporting teller functions as needed.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), NMLS registration within 60 days, and availability during branch hours (Mon–Sat). Level 2 and 3 add leadership and relationship management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience.
• Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming role and meet Bank training requirements.
• onsite position requiring availability during branch operating hours, including Monday through Friday 8:30am–5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am–1:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Meets sales and service goals by actively engaging in Bank sales processes, profiling customers and cross-selling.
• Accurately opens, closes, and maintains customer accounts per policies.
• Advise customers using Old Second's product portfolio, including IRAs and loans.
• Maintain high level of customer service to support branch ratings.
• Fill in at Teller line for basic transactions when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulations and complete annual training.
