Job summary

Old Second National Bank is hiring a Universal Banker Floater to provide front-line service and cross-sell across branches in Illinois. The position requires working onsite at multiple locations including Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Elgin, Carol Stream, Aurora, and Chicago Taylor Street & North Avenue.

You will open and close accounts, assist customers with banking needs, maintain accounts, and participate in sales campaigns while upholding compliance and excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience (banking, cash handling, customer service and/or sales, office, etc.); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming role and meet Bank training requirements.
• Must work onsite to perform responsibilities of this position. Branch hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm and Saturday, 8am-12pm.
• Must be able to work in the following locations: Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Elgin, Carol Stream, Aurora (on occasion) and Chicago Taylor Street & North Avenue

Responsibilities

• Meets sales and service goals by engaging in bank sales processes and campaigns.
• Accurately opens, closes, and maintains customer accounts according to policies.
• Advises customers on Old Second products and services.
• Maintains high level of customer service to support top ratings.
• Performs basic Teller functions when needed, including cashing checks and deposits.
• Maintains knowledge of compliance and completes training.
• Ensures operational accuracy and compliance (records, fraud, CIP, etc.).
• Flexible scheduling, may work at other locations.
