Job summary

Old Second National Bank is seeking a Universal Banker Floater primarily based at the Sycamore branch, with occasional support at Elburn, St. Charles, and Bartlett locations. You will open/close accounts, maintain accounts, build customer relationships, and assist Teller operations as needed.

You will leverage Old Second's product portfolio, including IRAs and loans, while delivering strong customer service and regulatory compliance. This role entails onsite work and branch coverage flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience.
• Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming role.
• Must work onsite to perform responsibilities (Sycamore, IL) and branch locations.
• Branch hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm; Sat 8:30am-1pm.

Responsibilities

• Meets sales and service goals by actively engaging in bank sales processes and following up with customers by phone or email.
• Opens, closes, and maintains customer accounts according to policies and procedures.
• Advises customers on Old Second's products and services, including IRAs and loans as they gain experience.
• Maintains high customer service levels to help achieve top branch ratings.
• Supports Teller operations as needed and fills in behind the Teller line for basic transactions.
• Maintains compliance with internal policies and regulatory training.
