Job summary

Old Second National Bank seeks a Universal Banker Floater to deliver exceptional customer service across multiple branches in the Chicago area. You will open and maintain accounts, profile customers for sales, and assist with Teller duties as needed.

The role requires flexibility to work at Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Elgin, Carol Stream, Aurora (occasional), and Chicago locations, with base pay and incentive opportunities described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with banking/cash handling, customer service or sales experience.
• Must become licensed with NMLS within 60 days of starting.
• Onsite work required; branch hours Mon–Fri 8am–6pm and Sat 8am–12pm.
• Must work in Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Elgin, Carol Stream, Aurora (occasional), Chicago Taylor Street & North Avenue.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and service goals by engaging customers and following up by phone or email.
• Open, close, and maintain customer accounts per policies.
• Advise customers on Old Second’s products and services; cross-sell where appropriate.
• Provide Teller support as needed on the branch line.
• Maintain high customer service ratings and accurate records.
