Job summary

Old Second National Bank is seeking a Universal Banker Floater to support customers across multiple Chicago-area branches, primarily Palos Heights. You will open/maintain accounts, build relationships, and assist Teller duties while ensuring compliance and high service levels.

The role emphasizes sales, customer service, and product knowledge across Old Second’s banking options, including IRAs and loans, with a schedule that may require travel to other OSB locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of related experience.
• Must become licensed with NMLS within 60 days of starting.
• Must work onsite at Palos Heights, Hegewisch, Evergreen Park, Chicago Heights, Flossmoor, South Holland, Chicago (Ashland Ave), and Frankfort.

Responsibilities

• Open, close, and maintain customer accounts per policy.
• Develop strong customer relationships and meet sales/service goals.
• Assist Teller operations as needed and support branch activities.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies and annual training.
