Job summary

Katzman Family Center for Living in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead the nursing unit with a focus on resident-centered care. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with on-call weekend rotations.

Salary ranges from $95,600 to $106,000 annually, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You will supervise staff, assess residents, ensure accurate med administration, and collaborate with physicians and families to implement individualized

Qualifications

• Active MA RN licensure.
• 2+ years in clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of long-term care regs.
• Current CPR, BLS, ACLS.
• English fluency requested.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing unit operations and ensure care quality.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff; coordinate assignments.
• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the team.

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff by coordinating assignments, providing clinical guidance, and fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, infection control practices, and adherence to state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly, respond to clinical emergencies, and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications for Success:

• Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• 2+ years prior experience in a clinical supervisor or leadership role
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
