Katzman Center for Living is hiring Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Sign-on bonus $5,000 is available. RN pay: $44.00-$48.00/hour; LPN pay: $40.00-$43.00/hour, based on experience.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities in a caring, resident-focused setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with ADLs, documenting in EHR, and collaborating with care teams to update care plans.

Qualifications

• Active, MA RN or LPN licensure is required.
• Current CPR certifications (BLS/ACLS) required.
• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including medication administration and vital signs monitoring.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Document changes in condition and care in EHR; report significant changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to update care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and a safe, clean environment.

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Provide direct resident care including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility support, and toileting while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor and document residents' clinical status, including changes in condition, wound care progress, intake/output, and responses to treatments, reporting significant changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement and update individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety regulations, and facility policies while maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications for Success:

• Active, unencumbered MA RN or LPN licensure
• Strong clinical skills in basic nursing procedures, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
