Job summary

Greenville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Unit Manager (RN) to lead a resident care unit in Greenville, SC. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote high-quality resident outcomes.

The role involves overseeing daily operations, collaborating with physicians and therapy teams, and mentoring CNAs and LPNs. This is a full-time, day-shift position with 12-hour shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted SC RN license required.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in skilled/long-term care preferred.
• Strong understanding of care planning and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing nursing staff and supporting team development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit.
• Ensure residents receive quality care per physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely follow-up on changes in status.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a resident care unit. This role is responsible for coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting exceptional resident outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit
• Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely follow-up on changes in status
• Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as neededReview and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Support survey readiness efforts and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, families, and other departments to promote positive resident outcomes
• Assist nursing leadership with staffing, training, and employee development initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Strong understanding of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing and supporting nursing staff preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current CPR certification
• Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements
• Must remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing
