Job summary

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Position Description

Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions

• Oversee daily operations of general services, to include, but not limited to,parking and mail services

• Conduct performance evaluations

• Maintain high service standards for internal departments

Occasional Duties

• Travel between Midland, TX and Odessa, TX locations.


• Coordinate\\supportthe planning, coordination, and execution of campus events and activities for students, faculty, staff, and the broader campus community. This position assists with event logistics, scheduling, communication, and on-site support to ensure events are organized, engaging, and successful.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus three years of supervisory experience


• OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in aUniversity setting


• Experience with an asset management system
