Job summary

Azalea Health Center by Harborview, Augusta, GA, seeks a Unit Manager - RN/LPN to oversee high-quality resident care and coordinate a dedicated care team in a skilled nursing setting.

Active RN/LPN license in good standing is required; experience in long-term care is preferred. You will document clearly, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families, and lead nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of medications and treatments, as well as supervise RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids where applicable
• Complete required admission and routine resident assessments
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care
• Support activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect residents and teammates
• Other duties as assigned
